Many optical stores are temporarily closed or have limited operating hours due to COVID-19 pandemic. Of the stores that are open, many will not see patients for eye exams unless they are deemed necessary as in an eye infection or will only do virtual visits. A local Walmart vision center by me in PA is roped off and will do minor repairs and adjustments. They will ask you if you or anyone in your family have been sick or have knowingly contracted Coronavirus. This makes things difficult for people that have the misfortune of breaking their eyeglasses during these trying times.
If you break your only glasses, and you cannot see, we’re here to fix them.
It has been recommended by eye doctors to their patients to rely more on their corrective eyeglasses than their contacts to see because inserting contacts into your eyes increases the risk for infection which will require a visit to the doctor for prescription medication.
If your glasses broke during these tough days, we are open to repair them. We will do our best to sanitize the glasses before shipping to you, the customer with antibacterial solution. Start your eyeglasses repair today!
Eye protection is important to help keep you from getting contracting Coronavirus. Goggles that provide complete eye coverage with a face mask or a face shield with a mask can help prevent you from getting the virus. Please see the CDC’s website for more info on COVID-19 safeguards and keeping you and your family safe.
